What is SAT/ACT?

The SAT/ACT are standardized admission tests widely accepted by U.S. colleges, many international colleges & universities. SAT/ACT scores help colleges compare students from different high schools. Your scores show your strengths & readiness for college work. But remember, scores are just one part of your college application, along with grades, course rigor, & recommendations.

Is the SAT/ACT still important to take?

The SAT/ACT puts your achievements into context. That means it shows off your qualifications to universities & helps you stand out.

  • Each year, students across nearly 200 countries take the SAT/ACT to apply to universities in the U.S. & more than 80 countries across the globe.
  • Even though there are wide variations in curricular standards, grading systems, & course offerings, the SAT evens out the disparities from school to school &region to region.
  • In the Class of 2020, nearly 90% of international students had SAT scores that confirmed or exceeded their secondary school GPA.

Who should take the SAT/ACT?

  • Students in Junior Year i.e, Grade 11 / IB1 / AS Level should target SAT/ACT.

When should you take the SAT/ACT?

  • Students are recommended to start the preparation immediately after completion of Grade 10 exams & complete the standardized testing by the first half or December of Junior year.
